                              MUSHROOM MATAR SABJI


INGREDIENTS:


1. MUSHROOMS

2. TOMATOES

3. ONIONS

4. FEW CASHEW NUTS(SOAKED FOR ABOUT 30 MINS)

5. MATAR

6. JEERA

7.GINGER GARLIC PASTE

8. GARAM MASALA, CHILLIE POWDER,SALT,CORIANDER POWDER

9. GREEN CHILLIES


PROCESS:


1. WASH MUSHROOMS UNTIL THE DIRT IS REMOVED.AFTER WASHING CUT THEM  INTO CHUNKS.

2. BOIL THE TOMATOES IN THE WATER UNTIL THE SKIN IS PEELED AND TURN OFF THE STOVE.

3. ONCE THE TOMATOES ARE COOLED GRIND THE TOMATOES ALONG WITH THE SOAKED CASHEW TO SMOOTH  PASTE.

4. TAKE THE KADAI ADD OIL ONCE THE OIL IS HEATED ADD THE WHOLE SPICES.

5. AFTER ADD JEERA,GINGER GARLIC PASTE,GREEN CHILLIES.

6. ADD CHOPPED ONIONS AND COOK THEM UNTIL THEY TURN LIGHT BROWN .

7. NOW ADD THE SMOOTH PASTE,MIX IT WELL NOW ADD SALT , CHILLIE POWDER, CORIANDER POWDER.MIX THEM WELL .

8. COOK FOR ABOUT 15 MINS OR UNTIL THE WATER IS EVAPORATED.

9. ADD THE MATAR AND MIX WELL.

10. AFTER 5 MINS ADD MUSHROOM CHUNKS.AND MIX WELL ADD SOME WATER FOR CONSISTENCY.

11. ADD GARAM MASALA

12. COOK WITH CLOSED LID FOR ABOUT 15 MINS(CHECK  WHETHER THE MATAR IS COOKED WELL IF IS'NT COOKED COOK FOR FEW MORE  MINS(5-10 MINS)
